Bean Dock
With the goal of improving the quality of life on the South side of Port Huron, the first major task for Acheson Ventures, LLC was to restore and upgrade the neglected Port Huron Terminal Company dock and buildings.
In 2003, the Terminal Company received a fresh look with a totally new docking facility for cruise boats, Great Lakes ships, and foreign freighters. The dock area is designed to accommodate all types of watercraft with power pedestals of 110 and 220 volts as well as 440 volts for large ships. Stainless steel railings have been installed along the entire pier and may be removed in sections to allow access to ships anywhere along the dock.
